Before TikTok, the song had only moderate success. After it got featured and promoted on TikTok, the song blew up, it reached new audiences and it was propelled to top charts in record time.

So, if TikTok can easily change the music industry, and have such a massive impact, then you see how important it may be as a promotion tool. It may even become the swiss knife of your marketing arsenal.

It’s a very lucrative thing to do at the moment. So we’ve covered it in a dedicated section.   1. Growing your account organically

By default, your content will be displayed to users in your area. As we’ve already covered, TikTok uses the location of your SIM card to understand where you are posting from. It will use it to target people that live in your area.

So, if you have a Canadian SIM card, then your content will mostly get displayed to Canadian users. The same goes for the USA or any other country in the world. So, even if you’re in the US, if you have a French SIM card, then your content will be primarily shown to French users.

This is one of the most used strategies at the moment, and for good reasons. It works well! Many, if not all brands that promote themselves via TikTok make use of influencers of all sizes and scopes (to reach new audiences and promote their services and products). As a business, there are 3 ways to use TikTok to grow your brand. You can run ads, you can grow your account organically, or you can use influencers.

Depending on your budget, your timeline, the size of the business, your target costs, and many other specific factors… any of these, or even a set of them will be your leverage to success. Also, getting your account verified helps a lot!
